Thomas F. Kane, Jr. 
Senior Managing Partner

Mr. Kane, 44, is in charge of the group's overall activities and used his extensive investment understanding to develop the firm's investment and due diligence processes.

He has over eighteen years of experience in the financial services industry. He was a General Partner of Printon Kane & Company, an investment banking house that held private equity investments in various early-stage companies involving asset securitization and reinsurance, real estate, cable telecommunications and financial services companies.

Over time these investments grew their collective market values to be in excess of $100 million.         cont'd >

Among his successful asset sales are the sale Printon Kane's share of The Patriot Group to John Hancock and sale of interests in Smith Graham & Company to ABN-AMBRO.

Mr. Kane is also a co-founder of Venture-Vortex, Inc., an affiliated company that licenses knowledge management software to Fortune 1000 firms. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross.









Garnet S. Heraman 
Senior Managing Director

Mr. Heraman, 41, is primarily responsible for transaction origination, development of the group's market positioning and product development.

He is a co-founder and former CEO of Venture-Vortex, Inc., an Aegis affiliate company that licenses knowledge management software to Fortune 1000 firms. Mr. Heraman also was part of the innovation team at Warner Bros. Cable that developed their RoadRunner™ broadband offering.

His industry association roles include co-founder and Board Member of The Indus Entrepreneur (TiE) and former Board Member of The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA).        cont'd >

Mr. Heraman pursued an MBA in Marketing and Management from New York University, received a Certificate in International Economics from The London School of Economics and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University.









Raymond L. Britt, Jr. 
Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Britt, Jr., 51, is principally responsible for orchestrating the acquisition process of private equity investments for the Fund.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Britt spent almost twenty years with Manulife Financial Corporation with the last five years as President and Senior Managing Director of Manulife Capital Corporation, the merchant banking/venture capital arm of Manulife.

Mr. Britt holds a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Virginia, and a L.L.B. degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Master's in Tax Law from William & Mary College.         cont'd >

Richard M. Hurwitz 
Senior Managing Director

Richard M. Hurwitz, 43, Senior Managing Director, brings twenty years of extensive experience in business building, general management and capital raising with financial service and technology companies both is the US and abroad.

Previously, Mr. Hurwitz was a managing partner with Bancorp Services a firm that advised financial institutions on risk and asset-liability management. Mr. Hurwitz served as CEO of the firm’s subsidiary broker-dealer which constructed and distributed structured products through Wall Street investment banks. Over 8 years, his team placed and administered in excess of $12 billion of deal flow.

Prior to this advisory work, Mr. Hurwitz was the Managing Director of Bridge Information Systems (UK) Ltd where he reorganized the European operations of this $225 million vendor of real-time financial information to cope with the transition from start-up to high growth. He also developed and led the organization inside of Bridge that executed all non-US equity and derivative trades. Mr. Hurwitz acts as Chairman of the Board of Pictometry International where he has worked closely with the CEO to lead the commercialization of a patented aerial imaging information system. Mr. Hurwitz graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY where he earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics and Philosophy.
 


Christopher O'Toole
Mr. O'Toole, 45, is principally responsible along with Mr. Britt, for orchestrating the acquisition process of private equity investments for the Fund.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. O'Toole was Chief Financial Officer and SVP of Finance and Administration for Triax Telecommunications Company, LLC. Mr. O'Toole has also worked for Daniels & Associates and KPMG. He is a CPA. He is also a Board Member of etrinsic and a graduate of Ferris State University.

Richard M. Hurwitz
Mr. Wigton, 41, is responsible for the oversight of the daily underwriting process for Auction Preferred Shares as well as in the area of product development for the Fund.

Prior to joining Aegis Investment Partners, Mr. Wigton was involved in several venture investments and gained his sales experience while working in the advertising industry for several trade magazines and in the investment industry. He is a graduate of New England College.

Jian Fang 
Technical Director

Mr. Fang, 42, is principally responsible for company's computer, software, network, Web site and office equipment installation, maintenance, upgrade and administration.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Fang was a database developer at the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, Colorado State University. He also worked as a Unix system administrator at Hewlett-Packard. Mr. Fang received a M.S. in Computer Information System from Colorado State University.
